You want to discover the different faces of Western Canada? Here is the itinerary for you! A package which combines the highlights of Alberta and British Columbia. You will discover the famous Inside Passage, the inner lands, the snowcapped mountains in the emerald lakes of the Rockies. Not forgetting a visit to some of this regions great National Parks  Banff and Jasper along with stunning locations along the way on your trip west to Vancouver.   A perfect harmony between culture, nature and pure happiness!

FLY & DRIVE - WESTERN CANADA
1st June to 20th September

Day 1 -  CalgaryFly Drive Canada
Pick-up your car and rendezvous in the burgeoning city of Calgary. 

Day 2 and 3 - Calgary to Banff 81 miles 129km
Explore legendary Banff National Park. You will also have the opportunity to admire Lake Louise and Moraine or to make an excursion to Johnston Canyon. A ride along the Icefield Parkway is recommended as well.

Day 4 and 5 - Banff to Jasper 180 miles 288km
The drive now leads you towards famous jasper National Park. Among other things, you will then have the opportunity to make fabulous hikes in the Maligne Lake area.  .

Day 6 - Jasper to Clearwater 198 miles 318km    
Your destination: Wells Gray Park which is famous for its spectacular falls, its outstanding fauna and its numerous hiking trails.

Day 7 - Clearwater to 100 Mile House 85 miles 136km
Following the path of the 19th century’s gold diggers, you will drive along the famous Cariboo Highway.  

Day 8 - 100 Mile House to Prince George 201 miles 322 km Self Drive Canada
Discover the wild forest territories of the Cariboo region.

Day 9 - Prince George to Smithers 198 miles 317km
The road towards Smithers will give you a good sample of the amazing landscapes of the North-West.    

Day10 - Smithers to Prince Rupert 218 miles 348km  
You must absolutely make a stop to visit the Native village of Ksan.

Day 11 - Prince Rupert to Port Hardy 8 miles , 12km plus inside passage  
Today you will  travel the world-famous “Inside Passage”. During the 15-hour-trip, there are good opportunities to watch wildlife: bald eagles, dolphins, sea otters and  whales. This fantastic ferry ride takes you 314km along a stretch of British Columbia very much inaccessible by car. Indeed until the ferries started operating there was little way to do the trip unless as a skilled explorer.  

Day 12  - Port Hardy to Campbell River 147miles 236km
Make a stop at Telegraph Cove where  you can  observe the killer whales in their natural habitat.

Day 13 - Campbell River to Victoria 167 miles 267km  
Rendez-vous in Victoria, and discover the British charm of this elegant capital.
Vancouver Self Drive

Day 14 and 15 – Victoria to Vancouver 41 miles 65km + ferry
Back on the mainland, continue on towards thrilling Vancouver! Its outstanding location between mountains and ocean definitely makes this city one of the most beautiful in the world. Discover its main attractions and let yourself immersed by its relaxed west-coast atmosphere. We particularly suggest the visit of the aquarium, of the anthropology museum, of Stanley Park, of Chinatown and of Gastown historical district.
