MARITIME AND LIGHTHOUSE

Day 1 - Montreal 
Fly into Montreal and pick up your rental car before driving downtown to your hotel.
Day 2 - Montreal/ La Malbaie 250 miles 400 km
You will travel down the St-Lawrence River on one of the most beautiful roads in Quebec making your way to the region known as Quebec Maritimes.
Day 3 - La Malbaie/ Baie Comeau 272 km
Spend the night in Pointes des Monts area which is famous for its magnificent lighthouse
Day 4 - Baie Comeau/ Havre-St-Pierre 451 km
You'll be astonished today by the spectacular nature on today’s drive . The Mingan area in which you drive through offers you its amazing monolithic rocks. Really needs to be seen to be believed
Day 5 - Havre-St-Pierre / Sept-Iles 138 miles 220 km
Now at the most westerly part of your tour you will discover Sept-Iles. Its archipelago and its charming inhabitants. Today as your drive is shorter you can start to spend more time experiencing the sites for the Maritimes. Always looking out to see looking for those whales which make there way into the bay.
Day 6 - Sept-Iles/ Ste-Anne-des-Monts 90 miles 150 km + Ferry
Now you drive south and it's now time to take the ferry to cross the majestic St-Lawrence River. Welcome to the legendary Gaspe peninsula. This region is a wildlife watchers dream , stunning National Parks will meet you and the big outdoors is hear !
Day 7 - Ste-Anne-des-Monts
Today you can explore the local area , of course in the area you must try the local fish restaurants in particular according to local hearsay, this region has the best shrimp in the world. Don't miss this occasion to taste them.
Day 8 -Ste-Anne-des-Monts / Gaspé 112 miles 180 km
Today you make your way to Gaspe and your chance to live the experience of the unique Forillon National Park. Try some out door adventure , go for a hike , 4x4 or rafting its is all available around the area but if you want to relax then do so and enjoy the fabulous country side and seclusion the park offers you.
Day 9 - Gaspe: You are now in the centre of the Gaspe peninsular in the region known as Lands end.
This region is made of two different zones meeting in Perce. On the north end, from Grande-Vallee to Perce which you are in today, you will experience a mountainous environment with little population except for Gaspe. As you travel along, you will find very interesting attractions, various panoramas on the north side, Riviere-au-Renard and its fishing industry, l'Anse-au-Griffon, a charming village, Forillon National Park, the cannons from Fort-Peninsule, the city of Gaspe with its restaurants, bars and museum, the Indian head rock in Saint-Georges-de-Malbaie and beautiful Malbaie region (from Belle-Anse to Cannes-de-Roches).
It was here that Jacques Cartier took possession of the land in 1534 in the name of Francois 1st!
Day 10 - Gaspé / Percé 50 miles 80 km
Now you travel south to Perce and the south region of Lands End. Don't forget your camera for the famous Perce Rock whic h poses for posterity! This region is flatter than the north region but you will find interesting sights such as the harbour in Sainte-Therese-de-Gaspe, the large river passing through Grande-Riviere, the Pabos bay and the unique beaches of Newport.
Day 11 - Percé / Bonaventure 87 miles 140 km
The Baie des Chaleurs welcomes you! This region is certainly the warmest of the whole Gaspesie, where its name comes from. Its western side is relatively mountainous and covers the estuary of the Ristigouche River. The Bay of Chaleur offers a lot of interesting sightseeing such as Pointe-a-la-Croix, the doorway to New Brunswick, Indian reserve of Listuguj, Miguasha Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, seaside resort of Carleton including many attractions (lagoon, mountains, hiking paths leading to Maria, beach, restaurants, bars, etc.). The Bay of Chaleur is cut in half by the Cascapedia River, renowned for its salmons to anglers around the world.
Days 12 -Bonaventure / Notre-Dame-du-Portage 280 miles 450 km
A region with the reputation of having one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world!
Day 13 - Notre-Dame-du-Portage / Riviere du Loup (10km)

Day 14 - Notre-Dame-du-Portage / Quebec City 118 miles 190 km 
Now you arrive in Quebec after your wonderful journey around the coastlines . Welcome to the National Capital with time to explore the many treasures.
Day 15 - Quebec City
A full day to explore the city at your leisure , we will give you many ideas but it is up to you to make the most of you stay. We can pre-book many attractions for you , so if interested please email us and we shall provide you with a list of pre-booked attractions.
Day 16 - Quebec City/ Montreal 160 miles 260 km
Returning to Montreal, it's up to you to discover all the other attractions which give Montreal the reputation of "the city of 100 steeples".
Day 17 – Montreal Departure
Its is now time to depart for your travels back home or maybe an extended stay.
