Welcome to Hooked on Canada and our winter activities in British Columbia high in the Chilcotin mountains north of Vancouver. In the summer we have our hiking holidays located at this wonderful range along with early and last summer season wildlife trips so it is our great pleasure to provide some fantastic winter adventures.

Snowmobile Adventure
Ranch based:
Guided Multi-day backcountry Snowmobile tours and winter alpine adventures in British Columbia, Canada. Ride over 300 km of wilderness trails. Scout for Mule deer, moose and Mountain lion. Options for day rides include hill climbing, trail touring on packed trials, or riding the powder. If you have experience, you'll prefer to head for the high alpine and the glaciers,where you can ride the mountain tops during March and April. The settled snow conditions and warmer days make this an ideal winter playground with miles of untracked alpine. At the end of the day, you'll return to our warm and spacious Ranch, kick back at the fireplace after a home-cooked meal, relive the adventure and sleep with feather duvets by night.

Hut based:
The glacial terrain allows you to sled into places where others only dream of going. Cruise miles of deep powder by day. Enjoy wilderness cabin camaraderie by night. Huts are equipped with propane and/or wood stoves.
All-inclusive adventures include meals, accommodation, guide(s) and snowmobile.
Accommodation is includes our Ranch, or a combination of Ranch and alpine hut(s).

Cross Country and telemark Skiing
Ranch based:
Ski-in and ski-out of our Ranch on novice to advanced trails. When you're not skiing, you can enjoy sleigh rides, horseback riding on woolly Cayuse horses, biathlon shooting and more. These adventures are ideal for small groups that wish to explore a variety of different packed or powder wilderness trails. You can even arrange to have our Ranch for your own private group.

Hut based:
Ski from your own exclusive alpine hut to new powder bowls, a new ridge or through sub-alpine valleys. Besides outstanding back country skiing opportunities, you can ice fish or explore 50 million year old fossil bluffs. Huts are equipped with propane and/or wood stoves. Our guides transport all gear and supplies, so there are no heavy packs.

Winter Ranch
Winter Guest Ranch activities include accommodation, meals, horse riding, guide(s), tack, bareback lessons and target practice. Activity Options include ice fishing, horse drawn sleigh rides, wildlife viewing, cross country skiing, Archery, Stargazing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling.

Snowmobile around the ranch trails for a few hours, or do an all day trip on some of the network of packed trails. For more experienced guests we take you up into the into the Alpine where you can ride the mountain tops.

How to get there
Fly to Vancouver the at least the day before your holiday starts - we pick you up on Day 1 on the out skirts of the city.
You will return to Vancouver early evening on your last day.
